Nguyễn Đức Huy (born 1976 in Đồng Hới, Quảng Trị) is a Vietnamese visual artist whose practice spans painting, mixed media, and contemporary explorations of cultural identity. A member of both the Thừa Thiên Huế Fine Arts Association and the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, he is currently a lecturer at the University of Education, Huế, where he continues to contribute to the development of the region’s artistic community.
Over the past two decades, Huy has built a dynamic exhibition record marked by both national and international visibility. He held his first solo exhibition at New Space Gallery in 2004, followed by a significant solo show at AnNam Gallery in 2023. His work has been presented in diverse group exhibitions, including Mekoong Art in Thailand (2014), Chân Dung Tự Họa Dogrma in Hanoi (2015), and Hội Tụ—a cross-cultural collaboration between Vietnam, Indonesia, and India (2017). He has participated in prominent platforms such as the Biennale of Young Artists in Ho Chi Minh City (2019), the Vietnam National Fine Arts Exhibition (2020), and the Singapore–Vietnam exchange exhibition Where Art Meets (2021). Recent exhibitions also include Mỹ Thuật Trẻ Huế (2022), Hanoi Art Connecting, Tứ Diện at the French Institute in Huế, and multiple collaborations under the An & Huy series, shown at HAKIO Let’s Art and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (2024).
